Program Description:

This program is designed to introduce students to human rights by using social media as a platform to build empathy, promote change and become active citizens in the future of work. Students will begin their day by discovering some of the stories within the Museum’s exhibits through clues while using a variety of social media platforms to share these stories online. Students will collaboratively create social media posts using critical thinking and citizenship skills.

The afternoon will consist of a keynote address by Ilana Ben-Ari, the founder, CEO and designer of Twenty One Toys, who will engage students in a workshop and dialogue session on the future of work and the Empathy Toy.

Please note event activities will be available in both English and French while the keynote address will be delivered in English only.

Please note that teachers will be required to use their social media platforms as part of the program. Students are encouraged to be active online citizens during this event.
